I was 15 years of age when I first participated in a cooking course in Tartu under the guidance of the head chef of restaurant “Tarvas”. Since then, I have continued to improve my skills by learning the secrets of gastronomy from the best in the field. In Muhu Ostrich Farm, hosted by my parents, I have opened Summer Cafe and a year-round catering operation.
About 15 years ago I became acquainted with hunting and a passion for it was awakened. This required quick learning on how to convert game to tasty gourmet dinners. Ostrich meat was added to the menu soon after my parents started their farm. In my opinion, venison and ostrich meat are the most valuable, cleanest and healthiest of all meats. My preference in raw materials belongs to everything that grows naturally and in the garden — despite extra difficulty in obtaining the results are worth the trouble. Although I follow many “golden rules” in cooking, creativity remains an important part of my approach

All menus are priced per person including VAT (groups starting from 8 people):
3-course cooking class-lunch 75 eur (event until 16:30)
3-course cooking class-dinner 95 eur
(Group from 16 people and more -cooking class-dinner price 80eur if you’re also taking side-course)
Price includes welcoming drink, snacks on arrival, water, coffee, tea and room hire for 5 hours.
Chef´s Table dinner 70 eur
Chef´s Table lunch 50 eur (event until 16:30)
(30 minute cooking presentation from the chef & lunch/dinner).
Price includes welcoming drink, water, coffee, tea and room hire for 5 hours.
It is possible to order private dinners and cooking classes for groups of less than 8 people considering the minimum budget for a private event is 350 eur for groups ending before 16:30, and 550 eur (in November and December 800 eur) for groups commencing after 17:00.
The prices do not include wines, other alcohol and soft drinks.
